The Laboratoire National des Champs Magnétiques Intenses (LNCMI) is a French Research Laboratory that welcomes researchers from all over the world for field experiments. At two sites, the LNCMI offers routinely static magnetic fields of up to 35 T at its Grenoble site (LNCMI-G) and pulsed magnetic fields of up to 90 T in a non-destructive manner (and 180 T semi-destructively) at its Toulouse site (LNCMI-T). In addition to the technical developments and own research that are carried out in the laboratory, measurement time is allocated to external researchers, whose projects are selected, after submitting a proposal, by a committee EMFL (European Magnetic Field Laboratory) joined with facilities in Dresden and Nijmegen.
